I’ve always been most comfortable 

immersed in nature...and most articulate 

hiding behind words.

Fairview Studios joins that yin and yang,

 combining the joys of my business and creative lives.

After my son died suddenly in 1988, 

I began finding feathers on my morning run.  

I'm sure they were always "there" --

but I began picking them up  

and felt drawn to "making things" with them.

That work soon took on a life of its own, 

as my teacher and my deep delight.
